Jaeger has been in the kitchen from a young age with his passion for cooking coming from his parents. He has been in the restaurant industry for the past 16 years working in restaurants in West Kelowna, Qualicum Beach, work camps outside of Edmonton, and Kelowna. With his experience as a prep cook, line cook, sous chef, and most recently as the Assistant Kitchen Manager at Original Joe's, Jaeger is excited to showcase his own style of cooking through Hunter Cook Fine Catering. He strives to bring you basic, quality ingredients, prepared simply and properly.

Drawing inspiration from his German heritage to name his company, Jaeger means 'hunter' and Koch means 'cook.'

When Jaeger isn't in the kitchen, you can find him hiking, wine tasting, and enjoying the beautiful Okanagan. He has also been volunteering at the Central Okanagan Community Food Bank for the past 5 years and donates proceeds from Hunter Cook Fine Catering to the Food Bank.

SARA KOCH
Operations Manager
Sara handles everything for the company that doesn't involve food. She is your main contact when booking events, our bookkeeper, in-house photographer, social media coordinator and everything in between! She also runs her own bookkeeping company and as you may know, is also Jaeger's wife.
When Sara isn't working she loves spending time with family and friends and supporting local wineries, breweries and restaurants.
